Reference Standard

The National Institutes for Food and Drug Control (NIFDC) is a public institution directly under the National Medical Products Administration. It serves as the statutory body and the highest technical arbitration institution for testing the quality of pharmaceutical and biological products in China. Additionally, it is designated by the World Health Organization (WHO) as the "WHO Collaborating Centre for Drug Quality Assurance." In accordance with the law, NIFDC undertakes various tasks including approval, registration, import, and supervisory inspections, safety evaluations, and batch release of biological products for drugs, biological products, medical devices, food, health food, cosmetics, experimental animals, and packaging materials. Furthermore, it is responsible for researching, distributing, and managing national standards for drugs and medical devices, as well as researching and developing relevant technologies.
Shenzhen Chengxin Biotechnology Co., Ltd. provides relevant reference standards, control herbal materials, control media, and bacterial strains from the National Institute for Food and Drug Control. We appreciate your support and welcome potential collaborations.

Core Functions
Instrument Calibration: Used as a baseline to adjust equipment and ensure accurate readings.

Quality Determination: Helps identify and quantify the composition of unknown samples through comparison.

Method Validation: Verifies the reliability and accuracy of analytical testing methods.

Key Classifications
Primary Standard: The highest analytical grade, certified by national or international authorities (e.g., NIST, USP), providing ultimate traceability.

Secondary / Working Standard: Calibrated against a primary standard, used for routine laboratory testing and daily quality control to save costs.

Significance
Widely applied in pharmaceuticals, food safety, and environmental monitoring, reference standards ensure global comparability and traceability of measurement data. Without them, test results lack scientific and legal credibility.
